L'Hydropathe Elite Rouge 2019

The "hydropath": the one who doesn't get the water! The name is Program for one of the most powerful and full-bodied red wines from Provence. A dream for lovers of concentrated intense red wines from the typical Syrah grape variety. The 2012 Hydropathe Red is the top wine from Domaine des Diables and is available in a limited edition of only 2500 bottles.

It has a dark and deep colour in the glass, intense and rich on the nose, with aromas of cooked red fruits paired with a spicy toasted note from wood barrel ageing. On the palate it is smooth and full-bodied with softly melted tannins. The long and complex finish makes it a real seducer!

Ideal with grilled meat, cheese or Mediterranean cuisine in general. Or simply enjoy it with friends!

Appellation of origin: Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire
Vineyard location: Puyloubier municipality, at the foot of the Montagne Sainte Victoire, approx. 30km east of Aix-en-Provence, France.
Grape varieties: 33% Syrah - 33% Cabernet Sauvignon - 33% Grenache
Aging: 24 months in 150l French oak barrels ("demi-muids")
Alcohol: 15% vol.
Optimum drinking temperature between 14°C and 18°C. Decanting is recommended.
